SOUL LINE DANCING FOR THE HEALTH OF IT

R.O.C. City Line Dance Express (LDE) was founded in 2008 with a mission to create an opportunity for community members to be physically active and strive towards healthier lifestyles, while experiencing friendship and spiritual growth through the art of dance. Appropriately, R.O.C. stands for Righteous, Obedient and Committed! Based in Rochester, NY, R.O.C. City LDE was started by M.A.J.E.S.T.I.C. Workout co-founder, Jackqulyn Brown, and you know she enjoys music and dancing and can be found spinning, dipping and jamming to old and new soul music.

R.O.C. City LDE is an adult line dance group of all skill levels. Members have performed at numerous events, including: Rochester Razor Sharks half-time shows, City of Rochester functions, family reunions, school, fraternity, sorority and corporate events, as well as local and national line dance conventions.   The group was televised on The View and local news. Over the years, R.O.C. City LDE raised and donated several thousand dollars in support of the Urban League of Rochester, NY,  the American Cancer Society and the Rochester City School District. The group has also choregraphed several line dances such as: “Papa’s Groove,” "Tony Boler Slide,” Upstate New York’s "Somebody Tell Me," "Whenever You're Around," "Leave It Smokin,'" "Go Crazy" and many more which can be found on YouTube and majesticworkout.com.
